Ms. Morris is a native of Carteret County and is married to a local commercial fisherman. She is a board member of the North Carolina Seafood Festival and is also a director in the Carteret County Commercial Fishermen’s Association.

Ms. Gaskill manages a family-owned wholesale seafood business in eastern Carteret County. She is a member of the North Carolina Fishermen’s Association and the Carteret County Fishermen’s Association.

Ms. Eaton is currently a member of the North Carolina Restaurant Association and serves on the Board of Trustees for the NC Hospitality Educational Foundation as well as the N.C. Licensed Beverage Council. She is secretary of the Fishtowne Ladies Investment Club and a member of the Carteret County Chamber of Commerce. She is a part time instructor for the Carteret Community College Culinary Arts Program.

Mariners Menu
Since 1973, representatives from extension clubs in Carteret County, North Carolina have met monthly in the North Carolina State University Seafood Laboratory kitchen to test new ways of handling, storing and preparing seafood caught off the North Carolina coast. The seafood wisdom of these “nutrition leaders” is published in Mariner’s Menu: 30 Years of Fresh Seafood Ideas.
